This bird has made a nest on top of the light on the left side of the garage entrance. I plan to restain the house this summer but now I'm going to have to wait until this family moves on.

Evening Hike

Took Sam for a short hike last night behind our house about 2 miles to a view spot overlooking the Truckee River and Hwy 89 North between Truckee and Tahoe City. He needed the excercise as he doesn't get to go along on all the road bike rides I do.

Hike to Donner Peak

Robert, Jennifer, Scott, Lindsey and Jill came up for a visit this weekend. Today we hiked from the top of Donner Pass up to the Keyhole at the top of Donner Peak.
