Homewood

Having lived in the area for 12 years I finally decided to give Homewood a try. Arrived at 11AM and parked 100 feet from the lodge. Found the place to be a throwback to what skiing used to be like in the 60's and 70's. Beautiful views of the lake. Some interesting terrain. I'd like to give it a try on a powder day.

First Real Winter Storm Hits Truckee

Skied with Kelly and Wallace today at Northstar. Spent a lot of time in the Lodge waiting for Comstock lift to open. Skiing was good but can't wait for more terrain options to open up.

I spotted a coyote at close range taking a dump opposite Big Springs Lodge Tuesday evening at around 5 PM.

Vista and Arrow chairlifts were open. I was there along with Kelly, Bob and Marco.
