Old 3 LNB HDR antenna

Just completed installation of 5 LNB AT9 antenna with HDR local channels. Heater on dish surface will hopefully keep the antenna surface free of snow and ice buildup.

View with cover on dish surface. Hopefully cover will protect surface of dish and heater element from being blasted by county snow blower.

Note Lexan (Polycarbonate) shield I fabricated and mounted to a snow pole to shield the feed assembly from snow thrown by the county snowblower

Cycle Oregon 2006 (last updated on 10/31/06)

Rode Cycle Oregon again this year. Cycle Oregon. This years ride took place in the NE corner of the state, September 9th through September 17th. The logistics included a trip on Southwest Airlines to Portland, an overnight at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel and then a bus trip from there to Umatilla on Saturday. The actual ride would start early Sunday Morning the 10th of September. This year I rode with Eleanor Mark, a friend from mine from Elk Grove California. I took about 75 pictures myself and combined those with Eleanor's Photos and a number of other pictures I found on the internet. Most of the other photos were from the Flickr.com website. More specifically from two main soures, hirano-k and BikePortland.org.

Me heading for fotog.

Robin

This bird has made a nest on top of the light on the left side of the garage entrance. I plan to restain the house this summer but now I'm going to have to wait until this family moves on.

Hey robin!

Evening Hike

Took Sam for a short hike last night behind our house about 2 miles to a view spot overlooking the Truckee River and Hwy 89 North between Truckee and Tahoe City. He needed the excercise as he doesn't get to go along on all the road bike rides I do.

Sam enjoying the view with his good eye.
