What size Rotors did you get? I am an expert skier 6'1" 180 and am trying to choose between the 169 and 179 cm size

Hi Andrew
I got the 169's. I'm a ski Instructor and I am 5'8'' and 160 lbs. I bought them on the last day of the season and have only skied on them for 1 day at Alpine Meadows and 3 days at Mammoth Mt., mostly in soft spring snow. They are plenty long for me. Most of my other turnier skis are in the low 160 range and work best on groomed snow and in powder up to a foot or so. I bought the rotors as an all mountain mostly soft snow ski. My thought was that the extra length would make them work a little better in deeper powder and just maybe hold a litter better in more icy conditions. At Mammoth I would have had more fun in the bumps with a shorter ski. Unless you want to be able to rip big mountains in deep (>2 feet) powder, even though you are bigger than I am, I would still suggest the shorter 169 cm length. At the PSIA Mammoth Ski Instructors Spring Convention in late April most the ski examiners and demo team members were skiing around in the slush on 158 to 160 slalom race skis.
