Assigned to adult level 1's this morning but ended up teaching level 2 Startykes. Had four kids in the morning and two in the afternoon. Ski school business is slow.
Went to Reno today to procure a replacement for the Envoy's keys and remote which I apparently dropped in the snow somewhere at Northstar yesterday. Set me back $125.
Rode 30 miles while waiting for key remote to be reprogrammed
Chico Wildflower ride is on the 24th so I have to get my butt in shape before then.
Traveled to Breckenridge Co for the Mountain Dew Vertical Challange on April 2nd. Mountain Dew VC Took 2nd place in my age group out of two racers. Somewhat of a disappointment for me. Here are the official results. Mountain Dew Finals. Skied Vail on Monday. It is a huge resort.

Me holding event promoter Jeff Brausch's Highline Sports skis and Jeff holding mine. I switched them by mistake earlier that day. Jeff is pointing at the Bavetta.com sticker that led to me getting back my own skis. Jeff was still kind enough to get me a free pass to Vail for the next day.
My name is Andrew but I usually go by Andy. I have two sons Robert and Ryan (Bavetta.com) (CrazyBuilders.com) and three grandchildren Scott, Lindsey and Jill. I spent most of my life in the Los Angeles area. I moved to Northern California (Truckee) after I retired in 1997 from Hughes Aircraft Co in El Segundo, CA.
I enjoy outdoor activities the most. Lately my passions have been skiing in the winter and biking (road and mountain) during the summer. I also enjoy WW kayaking but have not boated much lately. I prefer the mountains and the beach to the flatlands. I like to be around people but I'm also OK hanging out alone. These days I work in the winter as a ski instructor at Northstar at Tahoe in Truckee CA. I love dogs and I am not too fond of cats. I have a HD DirecTV/TIVO setup and I use it mainly to watch news/political shows including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report with Stephan Colbert, Sacramento Kings basketball, USC football, World Cup FIS skiing and the cycling tour. I like to travel but prefer to combine it with some sort of outdoor activity like biking.
