Ride Around Lake Tahoe

Rode around Lake Tahoe today with Wallace, Jason, Paula, Craig and Patrick. Long ride with a lot of traffic in the section from South Shore to Tahoe City. It is about 71 miles with around 2800 ft of climbing. Smoke was not too bad though and it was not very hot which was all good. The section from Sand Harbor to Highway 50 was much improved with the new pavement. Ride time not including stops was about 5 hours.

Donner Lake Paddle

Bonnie & I paddled Donner Lake this morning from end to end starting at West End. She in her 11 ft Perception Dancer river kayak and me in my 17 ft Perception Chinook sea kayak. It's about 6 miles round trip and it took about two hours.
