Rode around Lake Tahoe today. (Ride Description) The 72-mile loop circumnavigated the lake clockwise starting at 64 Acres park in Tahoe City It included an 800 foot climb to a summit overlooking Emerald Bay and a 1,000 foot climb to Spooner Junction. There were also many short rolling ascents and descents totaling over 2,600 vertical feet of elevation gain! The altitude ranged between 6,300 feet and 7,100 feet above sea level (Elevation Profile).
This was the group LTR Rick, Bonnie, Leeds, Otis and Paul. We started at 9:30AM with the temperature around 30 degrees F.
Same group sans Leeds with me in the number 2 position.
